Colne Valley Water Company

Colne Valley Water Company

Colne Valley Water Co. was a water company which supplied parts of South West Hertfordshire from 1873 to 1994.

It was the successor to smaller local water companies such as Abbots Langley Water Co., and reached its final size when it acquired Watford Corporation’s water undertaking in 1973.

In 1994 Colne Valley Water Co. merged with Rickmansworth Water Co. and Lee Valley Water Co. to form Three Valleys Water, now known as Veolia Water Central Ltd.
