Field, Hawkins & Ponking was a drapery store in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, established by Henry Field in 1808. Field was joined in partnership by Henry Hawkins in 1855 and Henry Ponking in 1871.
The shop specialised in everything for ladies’ and children’s ware. There were also departments for hosiery, footwear, menswear and fabrics.
The store closed down in the 1970s.
