Jeremiah Rotherham & Co. Ltd. was a retail and wholesale draper in Shoreditch, London.
The shop in Shoreditch High Street evolved into a department store which sold a wide range of textile products, carpets, silks, ribbons and artificial flowers. The store was bombed and destroyed during the Second World War.
Rotherham used full name overprints until the George V issues when initial only overprints began to be used. With these later issues one can come across some differences in the size and thickness of print.
