William S. Burton

William Samuel Burton was a furnishing ironmonger in London from at least 1847.

In the 1860s Burton’s company had a factory at 84 Newman Street which manufactured a wide range of iron and brass products for the home, such as fenders, stoves, tea trays, kettles, bedsteads and cutlery. Burton had twenty showrooms in London at this time, including premises at 39 Oxford Street in the West End.
